Applications for adult programs are processed and have deadlines based on the program start date.  Generally, applications for the August to May programs (Auto Body and Collision Repair, Auto Mechanics Technology, Commercial and Advertising Art, and Culinary Arts) will be accepted until classes begin.  The deadline for January to December programs (Practical Nursing and Electric Line Technology) will be the last business day in October.  Surgical Technology (July start) deadline will be the last business day in May.  Welding Technology applications are processed monthly. Adult Students

If you are an applicant for any other adult SoMoTech program, that application is available here.  This includes Auto Body & Collision Repair, Auto Mechanics Technology, Commercial and Advertising Art, Culinary Arts, Electric Line Technology, Practical Nursing, and Surgical Technology.

 

NOTE:  SoMoTech is required to complete a Missouri State Highway Patrol Open Records Criminal Background Search on each adult student prior to attending class.  The cost of this search is included in the application fee.  This is required by Missouri state law (RSMo 171.097).  If, as a result of the criminal history background check required under this section, it is determined that a person who requested enrollment has been convicted of a crime or offense listed in subsection 6 of section 168.071, or a similar crime or offense committed in another state, the United States, or any other country, regardless of imposition of sentence, the school district shall prohibit such person from enrolling in any course. (Effective 8/28/2023)
