Missouri A+ Scholarship Program

The A+ Scholarship Program provides scholarship funds to eligible graduates of A+ designated high schools who attend a participating public community college or vocational/technical school, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools.

Missouri Scholarship & Loan Foundation

The Missouri Scholarship & Loan Foundation was created in 2010 and is a tax-exempt, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation. The Foundation was formed by MOHELA to help make higher education more accessible and affordable for Missouri families. By providing scholarships and low-cost student loans, the foundation supports persistence to graduation from institutions of higher education by Missouri citizens.

SoMoTech Door to the Future Scholarship

Students applying for the SoMoTech Door to the Future Scholarship MUST have completed a two-year SoMoTech program while in high school and have submitted an application for an SoMoTech adult program. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have earned an SoMoTech completion certificate in the previous two academic years. The scholarship value is up to the remainder of tuition and certain fees (excluding application and accreditation fees) after receipt of Pell grants, A+ scholarships, veterans benefits and other scholarships received by the student. The scholarship is only for first-time SoMoTech adult students and is not renewable. Currently, the scholarship is valued at $500.00 for 900-hour programs (Auto Body & Collision Repair, Auto Mechanics, Commercial & Advertising Art, Culinary Arts, and Welding) and $1,000.00 for Electric Line Technology, Practical Nursing and Surgical Technology programs.
