Scholarships

The following is a list of scholarships administered by Southern Missouri Technical Institute.  Questions regarding these scholarships should be directed to the Financial Aid Office.

Door to the Future Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students who completed a two-year high school program through SoMoTech.  The application is available here and includes specific criteria for potential recipients.  The maximum amount is $500 or $1,000 depending on the adult program.

Clarence "Butch" Shelton III Healthcare Scholarship (Class of '65)
This scholarship was established to support students in the Practical Nursing program.  The application and criteria are available here.  The maximum award amount is $2,000.

Jeanne McLaughlin Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is administered by Community Foundation of the Ozarks (cfozarks.org).  It is a $500 scholarship availalble to one student in the Practical Nursing program.  The application is due no later than March 16th and is availble at www.cfozarks.org.

Robert Fant Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in the Autody Body & Collision Repair, Auto Mechanics Technology, Electric Line Technology, Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, or Welding Technology programs.  Preference is given to residents of Howell County, Missouri.  The application and additional criteria are available here.  The maximum award amount is $4,000.
