Surgical Technology

Surgical Technology is a fast growing medical field. A surgical technologist is responsible for setting up the surgical field for different surgical procedures. They also are responsible for passing surgical instruments, and equipment to the surgeon. They are the experts in knowing the sterile field. It takes someone who is very organized and detailed oriented. This is a very hands on exciting career. The Surgical Technology program is accredited by CAAHEP. Our program prepares the student for the nationally recognized certifying exam.
